- Posting invoices and issuing checks on a regular, timely basis
- Processing any monies received and depositing them into appropriate accounts
- Maintaining accurate, updated financial statements
- Preparing financials statements on a regular basis (for meetings primarily)
- Preparing annual budgets for all funds (e.g., general operating fund, debt service fund, capital projects fund, enterprise fund)
- Preparing assessment reports for new bond issues and refinancings
- Preparing annual assessment rolls and certifying to the property appraiser for inclusion on the real estate tax bills
- Providing SERCs (Statement of Estimated Regulatory Costs) for new districts being established
- Providing quarterly disclosure information on EMMA for bond issues
